How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Lightfield, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

About the role

About Lightfield

Lightfield is reimagining CRM as a world model of a business. By learning from emails, meetings, and customer conversations, we’re building a living understanding of how a company works—so AI can help teams anticipate what comes next, make better decisions, and take action.

More than 5,000 companies have used the product since its November launch. We’ve raised more than $70M from Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, Maverick Ventures, and Greylock to attack the biggest software category in the world. We previously built Tome, which reached more than 25 million users, and our team brings experience from Llama, Instagram, Google, and Salesforce.

About the role

We're looking for an experienced engineer to build the next generation of intelligent pipeline generation, combining rich business data, AI agents, and powerful automation to help companies discover and engage new customers.

You'll tackle ambitious challenges across company and people intelligence, data enrichment, buying signals, prospect discovery, and automated outreach. The opportunity spans sophisticated data models, large-scale processing, intelligent agents, and customer-facing product experiences.

At Lightfield, engineers lead product development. They work directly with customers, identify important problems, shape solutions, and take end-to-end ownership of projects from inception to impact.

You'll help shape product direction, lead substantial engineering projects, and take responsibility for delivering exceptional results through hands-on leadership.

What you'll do

  • Lead ambitious projects that help businesses discover opportunities, identify prospective customers, and take action through intelligent, automated workflows.
  • Build systems that ingest, enrich, and connect information about companies, people, and their relationships from diverse sources.
  • Develop intelligent prospecting capabilities that combine rich business context, behavioral signals, and AI-driven research to identify promising opportunities.
  • Build agentic workflows that automate complex, multi-step processes, from research and list building to personalized engagement and follow-up.
  • Design sophisticated customer-facing experiences that make powerful data and AI capabilities intuitive and easy to use.
  • Build reliable, scalable, high-performance systems with strong observability, metrics, and operational practices.
  • Lead technical design, mentor other engineers, and help establish engineering best practices.
  • Contribute to building a world-class engineering team through recruiting and knowledge-sharing.

Who you are

  • You have 7+ years of experience building and shipping software products, with strong full-stack engineering skills.
  • You have strong product judgment and can turn ambiguous customer problems into thoughtful, effective solutions.
  • You're a rigorous, analytical thinker who can break down complex problems, form hypotheses, and use data to evaluate solutions.
  • You're a hands-on technical leader who can independently scope, plan, and drive substantial projects while bringing other engineers along.
  • You care deeply about engineering craft, with high standards for reliability, performance, maintainability, and product quality.
  • You're excited about LLMs and the opportunity to build new kinds of intelligent systems and product experiences.
  • You have strong software engineering fundamentals, developed through a Computer Science degree, related education, or equivalent industry experience.
  • You can ramp quickly on a stack that includes TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Apollo GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • You communicate clearly and can explain product and technical decisions to both technical and non-technical teammates.
  • You're passionate about building products customers love and making Lightfield intuitive, intelligent, and indispensable.
