How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking DRW, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

What it asks of you

3–7 years of experience
“3 to 7 years of experience building and operating software systems” (quoted from the posting)
Bachelor's degree asked for
“A bachelor's or a master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience” (quoted from the posting)
Equivalent experience accepted instead of a degree

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

DRW is a diversified trading firm with over 3 decades of experience bringing sophisticated technology and exceptional people together to operate in markets around the world. We value autonomy and the ability to quickly pivot to capture opportunities, so we operate using our own capital and trading at our own risk.

Headquartered in Chicago with offices throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia, we trade a variety of asset classes including Fixed Income, ETFs, Equities, FX, Commodities and Energy across all major global markets. We have also leveraged our expertise and technology to expand into three non-traditional strategies: real estate, venture capital and cryptoassets.

We operate with respect, curiosity and open minds. The people who thrive here share our belief that it’s not just what we do that matters–it's how we do it. DRW is a place of high expectations, integrity, innovation and a willingness to challenge consensus.

We are looking for a passionate S oftware Developer to join our infrastructure team. This software-focused role involves building the services, platforms and automation that support our engineering teams and production systems. You will develop reliable backend software, improve developer workflows and help operate scalable infrastructure in a predominantly Kubernetes-based environment.

  • Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
  • Working with relational databases and message-driven systems, including PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ
  • Improving the scalability, reliability, performance and operability of distributed systems
  • Collaborating with software developers and infrastructure specialists to solve challenging technical problems
  • Contributing to technical design discussions, code reviews, testing and software architecture best practices
  • Driving projects and leading new initiatives
  • Migrating legacy workloads to Kubernetes
  • Maintaining some legacy non-Kubernetes production infrastructure

  • Enjoy daily catered meals (breakfast and lunch) with unlimited snacks and beverages
  • Competitive salary, matching RRSP, paid company phone, laptop, and work from home set-up

What you bring to the team
