How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Agilytic, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 1, 2026.

What it asks of you

3+ years of experience
“At least 3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a closely related role, with hands-on exposure to big data platforms (Databricks, EMR, Cloudera, Hadoop.” (quoted from the posting)
Master's degree asked for
“A master's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline” (quoted from the posting)

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

Since 2015, Agilytic has helped organizations reach their goals through the smarter use of data and AI. With over 300 successful projects completed in Belgium and abroad, we strive to be a leading boutique firm delivering high-impact solutions for marketing, operations, and finance decision-makers.

As a Data Engineer at Agilytic, you join our Platform Engineering & BI practice and tackle complex technological projects on our most challenging assignments. Your work is to build and maintain the (big) data infrastructure our Data Scientists and Data Analysts rely on to deliver client value.

What will you do day-to-day?

  • Conceive and build maintainable (cloud) data architectures (infrastructure, ETL, infra-as-code…)
  • Integrate data sources by developing data pipelines
  • Create large data warehouses and datamarts fit for further reporting or advanced analytics
  • Monitor the quality and stability of data solutions
  • Optimize data ecosystems' performance & costs
  • Support Agilytic Data Scientists & Data Analysts in deploying data solutions for the clients
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in data technology
  • Coach and actively share your knowledge with your colleagues

  • Competitive package : variable incentives, mobility budget, phone subscription, laptop, and meal vouchers
  • Flexibility on remote working options , as long as it fits with our clients' best interests and team coaching needs

  • Supportive structure and transparency : we practice radical candor. We care personally about everyone, and we challenge each other constructively and directly.

  • Oh, and a little bit of fun too: we take our work very seriously, but we're not afraid to laugh at ourselves. Life is too short.

A note on our process

The bar for this role is high. While we have ambitious plans for Agilytic, we know that hiring right matters more than hiring fast. Our process is designed to reflect the expectations of the position: an initial conversation, a technical deep-dive on your data engineering experience, a hands-on case study at our offices where you will demonstrate your expertise, and a final meeting with the founding partners. We promise transparency at every step.

Equal opportunity notice

We believe diversity breeds excellence. We are committed to providing employees with a safe work environment, free of discrimination and harassment. We base our remuneration structure and decision-making processes on business needs, job requirements, and individual qualifications, without regard to race, belief, nationality, age, gender, or sexual orientation.

We also expect all colleagues to apply these principles in their respective roles.
