Mobile Software Developer - (Remote from Colombia)

What you will do

As a Mobile Software Developer, you’ll be an essential part of our International IT team. You’ll contribute to the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions, primarily within the Nexus platform. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business stakeholders, and senior developers, to deliver scalable, maintainable, and robust applications.

• Design, build, and maintain the company's mobile application across the supported platforms (iOS, Android, or both)
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
• Translate designs, wireframes, and product requirements into functional features
• Implement and consume APIs to connect the app with backend services and third-party integrations
• Fix bugs, resolve crashes, and address performance and stability issues
• Monitor app performance and optimize speed, responsiveness, memory use, and battery consumption
• Write and run unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
• Keep the app current with new OS versions, device types, and platform requirements
• Manage the build, release, and deployment process to the App Store and Google Play
• Ensure compliance with App Store and Google Play submission guidelines and policies
• Handle versioning, rollouts, and post-release monitoring
• Work with product, design, QA, and backend teams to define and ship features
• Participate in code reviews, planning, and technical discussions
• Document technical decisions, architecture, and processes for the team
• Implement secure coding practices and protect user data
• Ensure the app meets relevant privacy and data-protection requirements
• Stay current on mobile development trends, tools, and frameworks
• Recommend improvements to the app's architecture, codebase, and user experience

How you will grab our attention

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience from coding bootcamps or certifications).
• 1-2 years of software development experience.
• 1-2 years of experience working with mobile platforms.
