How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Maincode, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

About Maincode

Maincode exists to build technology independence for Australia: AI and infrastructure that nobody else can switch off or change. Matilda came first. It runs on the web, phones, desktop and terminal, and it is trained in MC-2, the AI factory we own and run in Melbourne. MC-3 and our own cloud come next.

When we started in late 2024, the ingredients for this were hard to find here. So from day one the plan was people: a small group who believed in the mission and would do whatever it took to build it here. That is still how we work. There are no ladders to climb and no playbook to follow. Everyone owns what they take on, from start to finish, and the work is about the mission, not anyone's career.

The role

You go wherever you are needed. That could mean sitting with a customer to help their team get real value from Matilda, introducing Matilda to an organisation that has never heard of it, working with a government agency or partner, or running an event. You will be on the ground, working it out as you go, with a highly technical team behind you whenever you need it.

You are

  • Someone who gets things done.
  • Comfortable with no spec, no manual and no one telling you what to do next.
  • Good with people, and quick to learn whatever the problem in front of you needs.
  • Here for the mission.

Nobody is going to hand Australia its technology independence. We are building it ourselves, and we need people who will go wherever the work is.
