How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Burgess & Niple, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 3, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

Our teams combine technical expertise with a commitment to improving quality of life, safety and sustainability. At B&N, that legacy shapes meaningful careers. You'll gain hands-on exposure across a variety of project types, with opportunities to expand into roadway and bridge lighting, treatment plants, and site development, all within a collaborative team environment that welcomes fresh perspectives and is invested in your long-term growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Build your technical foundation working alongside senior engineers on clearly defined design assignments across building projects in the federal, state, municipal, K-12, higher education, healthcare, industrial, and mission critical sectors
  • Contribute to deliverables including design calculations, preparations of modifications or plans, specifications and reports
  • Grow your expertise designing and analyzing electrical services, power distribution, lighting and control systems, emergency and standby power systems, and low voltage auxiliary systems
  • Prepare electrical load calculations, panel schedules, lighting calculations, equipment sizing and selection, one-line diagrams, short-circuit and voltage-drop calculations, and related design documentation
  • Expand your exposure across diverse market sectors including roadway and bridge lighting, treatment plants and pump stations, and community and site developments
  • Perform site visits to gather project data and develop field intuition that strengthens your design work

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • 0 - 2 years of related electrical engineering experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam and REVIT is a plus
  • Familiarity with lighting calculation tools such as Visual, or AGi32, and power systems analysis tools such as SKM or ETAP are a plus
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet-based electrical calculations, equipment schedules, panel schedules and project documentation tools are preferred
  • Clear written and verbal communicator with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
