How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Modulr, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

Who We Are

Modulr is the payments automation platform that streamlines money movement with accuracy, control and reliability – built to scale. We process more than 200m transactions and over £180bn in payment value on an annualised basis, and we’re trusted by over 6,000 businesses from fast-growing SMEs to global enterprises.

We automate how money moves into and out of a business (payroll, supplier payments, spend management and payment collection) through a single platform, connected to the accounting and payroll systems finance teams already use, and underpinned by principal memberships of Visa and Mastercard and direct access to central bank infrastructure.

As a regulated payments provider with over a decade of experience, we’re the platform finance teams trust to run mission-critical operations. Modulr is backed by PayPal, FIS, General Atlantic, Blenheim Chalcot, Frog Capital and Highland Europe, with over 400 employees across London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam and Mumbai.

What You'll Do

Assess, monitor and manage risks presented by our clients and partners across distribution channels throughout the client lifecycle, using our six-pillar risk framework (financial crime, business model, financial resilience, operational resilience, conduct, and complaints handling). You'll own a portfolio, form independent views, escalate material risks, and contribute to protecting our customers and regulatory compliance.

  • Conduct risk assessments, perform ongoing portfolio monitoring, and identify emerging risks before they become issues.
  • Lead oversight engagement meetings with clients and partners, challenging weak controls and tracking remediation to completion.
  • Perform open-source research and assurance testing to verify client information and assess control effectiveness.
  • Develop and interpret key risk indicators to turn portfolio data into clear management information for senior stakeholders.
  • Support compliance with FCA and DNB regulatory requirements and assist with regulatory reviews and audits.
  • Contribute to the design of AI-assisted and improved approaches to client risk assessment.

Who You Are

What you'll need

  • Analytical judgement - the ability to weigh incomplete information and reach a defensible conclusion.
  • Strong written communication, particularly recording findings clearly so others can follow and rely on them.
  • Confidence engaging with external counterparties and internal stakeholders at all levels, holding your position under commercial pressure.
  • Comfort working with data - reading management information, spotting trends, and working confidently in spreadsheets and reporting tools.

Nice to haves

  • Experience in partner, third-party, or supplier oversight.
  • Working knowledge of AML, KYC, KYB requirements or working in a regulated financial services environment.
  • Investigative or intelligence training, or experience with open-source research and corporate registry work.

What We Offer You

  • Share Options - We offer a Company Share Option Plan (CSOP), giving you the opportunity to benefit from any increase in share value in the event of a sale, merger, or flotation.
  • Bonus - Our annual discretionary bonus, paid in May for the previous year, is based on both company and individual performance.
  • Flexible benefits - £1,000 to spend on benefits to suit you, including private medical insurance, gym membership, dental and more.
  • Wellbeing app - Confidential, on-demand access to therapy, coaching, counselling, management training or mindfulness sessions with accredited professionals.
  • Holidays - 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) plus your birthday off. In the UK, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day are fixed holidays.
  • Learning opportunities - Our two-day onboarding programme , ModStart , helps equip you for success. We'll continue to support your development through various channels.
  • Company-wide events - Participate in collaborative and engaging events with colleagues across the business.
  • Cycling - Bike to work and e-bike scheme.
