How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Get Reliance Health, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 1, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

Reliance Health’s mission is to make quality healthcare delightful, affordable, and accessible in emerging markets. From Nigeria, Egypt, Senegal and beyond, we offer comprehensive health plans tailored to both employers’ and employees’ needs through an integrated approach that includes telemedicine, affordable health insurance, and a combination of partner and proprietary healthcare facilities. By leveraging advanced technology, we are transforming the healthcare landscape, making it more efficient and accessible for everyone.

We are seeking a hands-on, pragmatic DevOps Engineer to join our Platform & Operations team. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our infrastructure while enabling rapid, safe deployments across multiple countries. You will work closely with backend, frontend, and mobile engineers, as well as product and operations teams, to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions that meet the demands of healthcare in emerging markets.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will do the following

  • Manage and optimise infrastructure in AWS, with a focus on cost control and resilience.
  • Operate and improve our Nomad orchestration platform (migrating from Kubernetes).
  • Maintain and enhance our Octopus Deploy pipelines for CI/CD.
  • Ensure infrastructure-as-code best practices using Terraform/OpenTofu.
  • Support deployments across multiple environments (development, staging, production) and countries.
  • Ensure platform availability meets agreed SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices at the infrastructure level.
  • Manage access control, secrets management, and environment segregation.
  • Partner with developers to improve deployment workflows and environment consistency.
  • Participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis (within business hours).
  • Document processes, architecture, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

Required

  • Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.).
  • Proven hands-on experience with container orchestration (Nomad, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Octopus Deploy.
  • Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu for infrastructure-as-code.
  • Familiarity with networking, load balancing, and monitoring in cloud environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience in multi-region deployments for services with country-specific configurations.
  • Knowledge of telecom integrations and emerging market connectivity challenges.
  • Familiarity with NodeJS, React, PHP or Java deployment environments.
  • Background in healthcare or regulated industries.
