How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Reaktor, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 1, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

Reaktor is looking for Machine Learning Engineers to join us in Helsinki.

Turn proof of concepts and ideas into production-grade AI services.

If you are interested in building and deploying bleeding edge machine learning models into production, where they continuously deliver tangible value to our customers, you might just be what we’re looking for.

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Reaktor, your job is to turn proof of concepts and ideas into production-grade AI services, help your team succeed, and deliver results.

At its core, Reaktor is a technology company that helps ambitious organizations become digital leaders. From premium software development to digital transformation, our global community of experts do it all – here are some of our most recent digital ventures to give you an idea of what that means.

Your daily tasks include

  • Working together with the client’s tech and business teams and helping them pick the right technologies suitable for their needs
  • Delivering the client and the team according to the needs of the project
  • Building, deploying, and maintaining ML models that serve users reliably in production day after day.
  • Creating architectures for the continuous gathering of new training data for ML models
  • Building interfaces for delivering the results of ML models to end users
  • Other software development-related tasks, such as debugging, designing, and participating in creating the architecture

You enjoy designing scalable machine learning architecture that processes vast quantities of data and delivers refined results to end users.

To thrive in this position, you'll need

  • Hands-on experience in continuously developing and deploying machine learning models
  • We don’t have a hard limit on years of experience, but we’ve noticed that these Machine Learning competencies often take 3+ years to accumulate
  • Experience with common tools, libraries, and platforms in the field of machine learning
  • A good grasp of common machine-learning techniques
  • An understanding of infrastructure-as-code practices (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
  • Cloud development experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
  • A solid programming foundation (Python required, other languages are a plus, for example, Java, Javascript/Typescript, C++)
  • Experience working on data with SQL
  • You are a software engineer at heart and you don't leave a legacy behind
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with clients to figure out their data needs
  • Fluency in both English and Finnish is preferable

Why join us?

  • A community with as much support as your heart desires
  • A team that’s not only experienced but considerate as well – they all want you to succeed
  • A sustainable work-life balance and support for your daily life outside of work. (e.g., free moving day, Reaktor car share, sick child care services, office space to use for your private events, etc.)
  • An opportunity to grow as a professional. In addition to the day-to-day work, we offer internal training courses, community events, and 15-minute coffee breaks to discuss hot topics in tech and design
  • A possibility to take part in more extended academy-like studies like Cloud Academy
  • 300+ hobby clubs, from winter swimming and running to knitting and archery, that bring people together outside of (and sometimes inside) office hours. Many of these are supported by Reaktor

Diversity, equity, and inclusion

Together, we are committed to making Reaktor an environment that embraces and values all of our employees for the whole of who they are. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply, knowing that studies show that members of underrepresented communities don’t apply for jobs unless they fully satisfy all of the requirements. If you're thinking twice about applying for this reason, we invite you to send us your application anyway. You could be just the person we're looking for.
