How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Sensorfact, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

What it asks of you

3+ years of experience
“3+ years of experience building and maintaining production data pipelines” (quoted from the posting)

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

Ready to scale your career in a high-growth scale up where your results drive real world change?

We’re Sensorfact , Europe’s #1 smart monitoring platform for the industry , on a mission to make industry smarter, cleaner, and more efficient. Every day, our technology helps thousands of manufacturers cut energy waste, reduce costs, and lower carbon emissions through intelligent data insights and automation.

Today, we’ve joined forces with ABB, a global leader in electrification and automation. This partnership has propelled us onto the world stage, enabling us to expand rapidly and help more businesses optimize their energy efficiency, cut costs, and make a positive impact on the planet.

Apply today and help shape a smarter and more sustainable industry.

As an analytics engineer you build, scale and optimize data pipelines your colleagues use every day to make data-driven decisions. You design pipelines that extract, load, transform and monitor data from both internal and external sources in a way that’s easy to draw conclusions from. In this role you will build a deep understanding of the drivers of Sensorfact and how we work, because you can’t model a business you don’t understand!

To make that more concrete

  • You’ll build scalable pipelines with Prefect that extract data from external sources, model it with dbt on Clickhouse in order to empower people to create meaningful visualisations in Metabase
  • You’ll standardise how data gets ingested into our data warehouse, so that adding a new source is a known path rather than a fresh implementation
  • You’ll raise the bar on our testing practices across all data pipelines, so stakeholders get high-quality datasets and we spot changes in data ourselves instead of hearing about them from colleagues
  • You’ll drive AI adoption through improving documentation, clearer semantics and richer context so that both humans and models can answer questions accurately.
  • You’ll work closely together with stakeholders to understand the questions being asked, spotting the gaps in our data and figure out together what would genuinely help

About the team

You join a small analytics team, working closely with stakeholders, data engineers and data analysts and data scientists, picking up projects independently. We share knowledge, discuss tech solutions and review each other's code. Being part of a scale-up, you are proactive and pragmatic in prioritising the needs of the business. That means you are able to make judgement calls about what to build properly and what to build quickly, and being comfortable making these decisions.

We work in 2 week sprints with planning, retrospectives and daily standups. We keep track of things in Linear, Miro, Google Drive and Outline and stay in touch with each other over Slack. We work from home about 60% of the time and enjoy meeting each other in the office in Utrecht or Amsterdam on a regular basis.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production data pipelines
  • Strong SQL skills that allow you to write readable and maintainable queries that leverage the underlying data architecture
  • Proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses like Clickhouse, Snowflake or BigQuery
  • Experience with data orchestration tools like Prefect, Airflow or Dagster
  • Familiar with professional software engineering practices (version control, merge requests, testing, code standards, CI/CD)
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP
