How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Serko Ltd, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 3, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

At Serko, we believe something incredible happens when people come face-to-face. That’s why we’re on a mission to engineer a frictionless, next-generation business travel marketplace. We don’t just manage travel; we are leveraging advanced AI and cutting-edge tech to eliminate the complexity of global movement.

When you join Serko, you join a global collective of passionate technologists who show up as their true selves to build world-class products. With established hubs across New Zealand, Australia, North America, India and China - your code and ideas will impact millions of corporate travelers worldwide.

If you're ready to challenge the status quo and build the future of travel tech, your next journey starts here.

Reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager or Engineering Manager, you will build in partnership with Booking.com , the B4B Experience encompasses the end-to-end journey for corporate travelers, travel arrangers, and administrators.

With light-touch steering, you raise the craft, accessibility and quality of what customers see and touch. You understand why the work matters, work agentically day to day and ship small changes often.

Requirements

You'll belong to the wider B4B Experience team, where we form small, self-organising project teams trusted to own each initiative through to its outcome. Our Platform team owns core domain services; we own everything between them and the customer, including the APIs our experiences depend on.

What you'll do

Drive customer value: Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to ship features that move the needle on customer success metrics.

Ship end-to-end features: Scope work into small, testable slices and independently deliver accessible, responsive UIs along with their C# BFF endpoints.

Work agentically: Leverage AI agents effectively by providing clear context, test-driven requirements, and rigorous output verification.

Own your code in production: Deploy, support, and instrument what you build, covering system health, customer outcomes, and on-call duties.

Lead and decide: Lead small projects, run agile ceremonies, and make autonomous, reversible decisions to keep work moving.

Elevate the team: Model strong engineering standards and actively contribute ideas that improve how the team operates.

What you'll bring

Core stack experience: A proven track record of shipping customer-facing production features using React/Next.js and TypeScript, plus experience building APIs in C# (or a similar backend language).

Frontend excellence: A strong grasp of accessibility fundamentals, including semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and ARIA.

Pragmatic engineering: The ability to design simple, secure, and maintainable solutions. You balance speed with quality and rely on tests, metrics, and dashboards to ensure reliability.

Agentic growth mindset: You take ownership of your career and deeply understand the code you ship, ensuring your engineering judgment scales alongside your use of AI agents.

Collaborative spirit: You elevate the team by participating in technical discussions, supporting peers through code review, and building alignment with an awareness of others' perspectives.

Benefits

At Serko, we aim to create a place where people can come and do their best work. This means you’ll be operating in an environment with great tools and support to enable you to perform at the highest level of your abilities, producing high-quality and delivering innovative and efficient results. Our people are fully engaged, continuously improving, and encouraged to make an impact.

Some of the benefits of working at Serko are

  • A competitive base salary
  • KiwiSaver covered with employee contributions matches up to 3.5% of salary, and life insurance.
  • Health & Wellbeing: Discounted Southern Cross Health Insurance, access to confidential support, guidance and counselling service, wellbeing and voluntary leave, and free flu shots.
  • Focus on development: Access to a learning & development platform, committed budget and opportunity for you to own your career pathways.
