How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age.

Last checked Nov 3, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Pay
65k to 80k a year (currency not stated)
Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000, contractor, remote (quoted from the posting)

Not stated: Real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

About the role

ROLE

You decide who gets to make money on Whop. You review businesses and users, stop fraud before it costs anyone money, and make sure every merchant and buyer caught up in a Risk Operations decision gets a fair, case-by-case review. When the policy or the tooling gets it wrong, you work with Risk to fix it.

This is a very high agency role with a lot of freedom and a lot to own. You own your queue, the policies behind it, and every call you make.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Audit businesses and users on a regular basis to decide if Whop can support them
  • Manage risk as each situation changes, and decide which businesses earn elevated privileges
  • Assess flagged KYC and KYB in order to keep Whop compliant with OFAC guidelines
  • Work with Customer Support to make sure policy is communicated consistently across the platform
  • Adjudicate refund requests between merchants and sellers
  • Be thorough on every case. When something looks off, follow it all the way. A bad refund means checking the merchant. A dispute rate that is "not that bad" still gets a full look
  • Flag unclear policy for review and provide recommended changes at your discretion

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Background in fraud, risk or other finance-related industry
  • Extremely thorough. You check every step, not just the one in front of you
  • Very high agency. If you see a problem, you don’t ask for permission to fix it
  • Thinks in systems. You solve each problem for everyone it affects, so the same facts always get the same answer
  • Makes sound calls on incomplete information, and asks for more before guessing
  • Write clearly. Your notes get read by the team and your answers get passed to merchants
  • Careful with money. You will move funds, release reserves, and issue refunds
  • AI native. Comfortable vibecoding your own tooling and writing your own policy

COMPENSATION / PERKS

  • Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000, contractor, remote
  • 40 hours a week over 5 days. Weekend availability is required.
  • One fixed 8 hour shift: 8am to 4pm, 4pm to 12am, or 12am to 8am EST
  • Trained on every Risk Operations queue in your first 60 days
