How we know
It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.
Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age.
Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.
Why these three
Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.
Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role
- Architect, build, and scale full-stack web applications using Node.js, Express/NestJS, MongoDB, React/Next.js, and Angular
- Lead feature development end-to-end, from technical design and estimation through deployment and production support
- Design and own RESTful and GraphQL APIs, including BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) layers, and shape API contracts with product and platform teams
- Build and maintain shared component libraries and design systems (Tailwind, Storybook) and turn Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible UI
- Deploy and operate services on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Docker, Kubernetes, serverless functions, and CI/CD pipelines
- Integrate LLM-powered features such as AI assistants, semantic search, and RAG pipelines into products alongside AI/ML engineers
- Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to speed up delivery while keeping quality high
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical direction
- Present technical decisions, trade-offs, and progress clearly to stakeholders, clients, and leadership
- Take part in on-call rotations and incident response for production systems
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong full-stack delivery
- Expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript, plus strong HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
- Production experience with Node.js (Express or NestJS) and MongoDB, with exposure to PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Strong hands-on experience with React (Next.js preferred) and working proficiency in Angular
- Solid understanding of system design, microservices, caching (Redis), and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
- Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including containerization with Docker
- Strong testing habits: unit, integration, and E2E testing with Jest, Playwright, or Cypress
- Understanding of authentication and security standards: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and OWASP best practices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain and defend technical choices to both technical and non-technical audiences, represent the team in client and stakeholder meetings, and confidently showcase our technology
- Proven ability to lead development efforts, own deliverables, and drive a team toward deadlines
- Self-starter with strong ownership, prioritization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- React Native or Expo experience shipping apps to the App Store and Google Play
- Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) or building RAG and vector search features (Pinecone, pgvector)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Sentry)
- Experience with WebSockets and real-time systems
- AWS, GCP, or Azure certifications
- Startup or SaaS product experience, or client-facing consulting experience
- Open-source contributions or a strong public GitHub portfolio
