What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

Job Description

We're looking for a Master Data Analyst to play a key role, helping to ensure that the data underpinning our operations is accurate, consistent and fit for purpose.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the detail of data management but also likes working collaboratively with teams across the business. From supporting new product launches and supplier onboarding through to improving governance processes and implementing new technology, you'll be at the centre of how master data is managed across Valeo.

About the role

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management, governance and quality of master data across multiple business areas, including products, suppliers, customers, materials, bills of materials and routing data. Working closely with colleagues across Commercial, Procurement, Manufacturing, Technical, Finance and Supply Chain, you'll ensure that the information our teams rely on is accurate, controlled and maintained to a consistently high standard.

Alongside business-as-usual responsibilities, you'll play an important part in the implementation and ongoing development of our Semarchy Master Data Management (MDM) platform. As one of the business's key MDM users, you'll help shape new workflows, support testing and adoption, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data governance processes.

What you'll be doing

A typical week could involve creating and maintaining master data records, reviewing data quality issues, supporting new product introductions, working with stakeholders to resolve data challenges, and ensuring governance controls are followed consistently across the business.

You'll support the management of approval workflows, monitor data quality and compliance metrics, maintain audit trails and governance documentation, and help drive greater standardisation across our systems. You'll also work closely with project teams and implementation partners as we continue to develop our MDM capability and align our processes with future OneERP standards.

As a key user of the Semarchy platform, you'll help onboard colleagues, support business users, identify opportunities to improve workflows and contribute to future enhancements as additional data domains are introduced.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with ERP master data processes.
  • Understanding of product, supplier, customer, material, and BOM master data.
  • Experience supporting governance and operational workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to work across multiple business functions and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of data quality, governance, and validation principles.
  • Experience supporting UAT testing and business process validation.
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills.
  • Experience with MDM platforms such as Semarchy desirable but not essential.

Additional Information

At Valeo Foods UK, you'll join a business with some of the nation's favourite brands and be part of a team that is investing heavily in systems, processes and capabilities for the future. This role offers the opportunity to influence how data is managed across the organisation, work on a significant transformation programme and help create the foundations for long-term business success.

If you're passionate about data quality, governance and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
