How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

About the role

Implementation Data Analyst (India)

About Niural

Niural is the AI-native platform that unifies payroll, compliance, HR, and financial operations into a single platform, enabling companies to hire, pay, and manage teams across 150+ countries with speed, accuracy, and intelligence. Backed by Marathon, M13, and Inspired Capital, Niural is redefining the future of work and intelligent finance.

Why Niural?

At Niural, every new client relationship starts with data. As an Implementation Data Analyst, you’ll own the data work that determines whether a client’s first payroll, tax filings, and benefit enrollments go right the first time, working closely with our US Implementation Specialists to bring new clients onto the platform cleanly and confidently.

You’ll build deep, hands-on expertise in US payroll, tax, 401(k), and benefits data while contributing to a platform that supports teams across 150+ countries, with real ownership over the accuracy that earns client trust from day one.

About the Job

The Implementation Data Analyst handles the data behind every new client onboarding: extracting, cleaning, loading, and reconciling client payroll, benefits, and employee data. This role requires accuracy and extreme attention to detail, since the data you load directly affects a client’s first payroll, tax filings, and benefit enrollments. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and a working knowledge of US payroll, tax, and benefits deductions are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Extract employee census, compensation, deduction, and benefits data from prior payroll providers, PEOs, and client files.
  • Prepare prior year-to-date (YTD) payroll, tax, and benefits data for clients joining mid-year, and run validation checks before any data is loaded.
  • Reconcile YTD totals across wages, taxes, benefits, and retirement deductions, and flag variances to the Implementation Specialist with clear, concise notes.
  • Map earnings, deduction, and benefit codes from various provider systems into Niural’s platform.

Enter 401(k) and benefit plan details, deduction codes, and employee elections into Niural based on the setup sheet approved by the US Implementation Specialist, including manual 401(k) YTD entry for mid-year clients.

  • Audit all tax and deduction setups before a client’s first payroll, checking deductions against plan terms, employee elections, annual 401(k) limits, and code mapping (pre-tax, post-tax, Roth, HSA, FSA).
  • Process census and plan data from broker partners, prioritizing broker group files in the queue.

Run pre-load and post-load quality checks and maintain an audit trail of what was loaded and when.

  • Keep task status and notes current in our project management and ticketing systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll data, payroll operations, HR data, or a similar data role.

Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, including lookups, pivot tables, data cleanup, and reconciliation.

  • Solid understanding of US payroll concepts: gross-to-net, pre-tax and post-tax deductions, federal and state taxes, and YTD totals.
  • Working knowledge of US payroll tax, 401(k), and benefits deductions, including pre-tax and Roth deferrals, employer match, IRS contribution limits, and medical, dental, vision, FSA, and HSA deductions.
  • High attention to detail and the discipline to check your own work before handing it off.
  • Clear written English for documenting variances and raising questions with the US team.

Comfort working within a defined process and flagging issues when the data doesn’t fit it.

  • Ability to work US business hours and in-person.
  • Experience with data import templates or bulk uploads into HR or payroll systems is a strong plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary package designed to reward your expertise and contributions.
  • Access to continuous learning and career advancement programs.
  • Opportunities for mentorship and coaching to help you grow in your career.
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment where ideas are valued and teamwork is encouraged.
  • Complimentary lunch provided to keep you energized throughout the shift.
  • Latest work equipment will be provided to boost your productivity.
  • We’ve partnered with select universities in the US to provide “fast track” admissions to star performers who may want to pursue their Masters in CS in the US.
  • High performers will be sponsored for L1 visas as well as immigrant visas (Green Card) to the US.
