How we know
It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.
Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Profound Medical, so its true age is longer.
Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.
Why these three
Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.
Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role
Our mission is to Profoundly change the standard of care by creating a tomorrow where clinicians can confidently ablate tissue with precision; a tomorrow where patients have access to safe and effective treatment options, so they can quickly return to their daily lives. Changing the standard of care is part of our fabric. We are a group of energetic, problem-solvers focused on innovation, and looking to change the world. We are changing the paradigm for treating diseases such as prostate cancer by using real-time MR Imaging, thermal ultrasound and close-loop temperature feedback control, to gently ablate the diseased tissue with minimal side effects.
If you share our values and want to work in a collaborative results focused culture and want to make a Profound impact in healthcare and your career, here is your chance.
Are you a developer searching for a job which makes a difference, or saves lives? Would you like to join us in developing novel, incision-free alternatives to traditional surgical treatments?

- Design and implement comprehensive unit tests and use test-automation tools to ensure high code quality and reliability.
Education & Certifications
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
Key Attributes
- Several years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of owning technical solutions end to end.
- Experience with hands-on embedded software development in complex systems.
