How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the Role

As a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will own manufacturing test strategy and execution for Motive’s hardware products, from new product introduction through sustaining production. You will translate design and manufacturing requirements into robust test solutions that improve product quality, manufacturing yield, and production efficiency. This is an in-person role based in Motive’s Taipei office.

What You’ll Do

  • Define manufacturing test requirements, coverage, specifications, fixtures, and acceptance criteria for new and sustaining hardware products.
  • Lead test development, validation, and production-line bring-up across PCBA, functional, system, and end-of-line testing. Drive manufacturing test readiness during new product introduction and design-to-production transfer.
  • Analyze test failures, yield trends, and production escapes to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop test processes and data-monitoring methods that improve throughput, reliability, and manufacturing quality. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, quality, supply chain, and contract manufacturing teams to resolve complex production issues.
  • Document test procedures, troubleshooting methods, and manufacturing controls for internal and external production teams.

What You’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering for high-volume electronics or hardware products.
  • Experience leading manufacturing test development from prototype validation through mass production.
  • Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing, functional testing, test fixtures, calibration, and production-line debugging.
  • Proficiency with electrical laboratory equipment and manufacturing test tools.
  • Experience using data analysis and quality methods to improve yield, identify process variation, and prevent test escapes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and firmware-related production issues independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.

Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motive's core values. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives.
