How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

Design solar and battery systems for a growing Australian energy company

If you are an electrical engineer who enjoys design work in AutoCAD and wants to build your career in solar and battery systems, this role gives you real projects and a path to Australian accreditation.

About the Opportunity

Our client is an Australian solar, battery, and energy services company that designs and installs systems for commercial and residential customers. Most of the design work is for commercial projects.

You will join a new team in Manila and work closely with the Australian operations team, installers, and structural engineers to turn site information into compliant electrical designs.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare electrical designs for solar PV and battery systems, mainly commercial
  • Produce single line diagrams and electrical drawings in AutoCAD or similar
  • Build distributor grid requirements into each design
  • Review site inspection data and ask installers for more information when needed
  • Work with structural engineers on larger systems
  • Check designs against Australian standards
  • Keep design records, drawing revisions, and templates up to date

A path to Australian accreditation. Australian standards are some of the strictest in the world. If you are keen to learn them and work towards Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA), this role gives you the projects and support to do it.

What You Bring

  • A degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 3 to 4 years in electrical engineering, ideally solar, battery, or renewables
  • Strong AutoCAD skills and experience preparing electrical drawings
  • Solar PV or battery system design experience
  • Knowledge of Australian electrical standards, or a strong drive to learn them quickly
  • Clear communication with installers and engineers
  • Nice to have: SAA accreditation and distributor (DNSP) grid connection knowledge

Why You'll Love This Role

  • Real solar and battery design work for an Australian company
  • Support to build your knowledge of Australian standards and work towards SAA accreditation
  • Work with an experienced Australian operations team
  • Join a new team in a collaborative office
  • Australian business hours, so you finish earlier in the day

Hours & Work Setup

This is a full time, office based role in Manila, Monday to Friday, on an 8 hour day plus a one hour break within Australian Eastern business hours (around 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sydney time).
