How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

What it asks of you

5+ years of experience
“5+ years of industry experience working with backend tech stacks” (quoted from the posting)

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

About the Team

DoorDash is building the world's most reliable on-demand logistics engine for delivery! We're looking for experienced engineers to join our fast-growing engineering team and help us develop a 24x7, global infrastructure system that powers DoorDash's three-sided marketplace of consumers, merchants and Dashers.

About the Role

We're looking for Senior Backend Engineers to join our product engineering team in Hyderabad. Product-focused engineers work at the intersection of product and infrastructure to solve key business problems with elegant technical solutions.

You'll work directly with product managers and cross-functional partners and move quickly from idea to experiment to production. You'll be challenged to consider the big picture, evaluating and executing on trade-offs to maximize business impact for the company. We expect Senior Engineers to be able to own projects end-to-end and mentor their junior and mid-level peers.

This role is hybrid with some in-office time expected and will report to an Engineering Manager.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Develop, release and run large-scale web applications
  • Develop and define the backend architecture and tech stack for a product area
  • Improve performance, reliability, scalability and security for our backend systems
  • Build fast-growing products for consumers and businesses and help take them to new markets globally
  • Run rapid experiments with product partners and see your work's direct impact on customers and the business
  • Be part of a new product engineering team in India and help shape how it builds and operates

We’re excited about you because…

  • B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of industry experience working with backend tech stacks
  • Proficiency in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, generating code, testing, monitoring and releasing software. AI is your default way of working, not an add-on.
  • A strong sense of ownership and a bias for action: you take unclear problems from idea to production and own the outcome
  • Product and business sense: you think about the end customer and make pragmatic trade-offs between speed and quality
  • Ability to analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability and stability of system resources
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture, writing REST or gRPC APIs, unit testing, and architectural design
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and other technologies (e.g. Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ)
  • Clear communication with engineers, product managers and business partners across time zones
