How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

Principal Data Architect

Location: Hybrid. Poland / Doha, Qatar (1 year relocation) | Practice Area: Data & Analytics

Please note: We are considering Poland / Qatar based candidates.

The Role

Capco is a global technology and business consultancy, focused on the financial services and energy sectors. We combine innovative thinking with deep industry expertise to help our clients solve complex business and technology challenges.

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise data architectures across complex transformation programmes. The role combines strategic architecture, modern data platform expertise, and technical governance to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready data solutions.

You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into practical architectural solutions, establish common standards, and guide engineering teams through implementation.

What You'll Do

  • Define target-state architectures, data models, domain structures, and integration patterns, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise standards, and non-functional requirements.
  • Design scalable data platforms and solutions leveraging technologies (including but not limited to Snowflake, dbt, and cloud-native services), with a focus on performance, security, resilience, and cost efficiency.
  • Architect modular, microservices-based solutions incorporating REST APIs, API gateways, and modern data ingestion and integration patterns.
  • Establish and promote consistent data modelling, naming conventions, semantic definitions, and data management standards to support interoperability, discoverability, and reuse.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to translate business and technical requirements into architecture designs, assess source-system integration feasibility, and validate proposed solutions.
  • Lead technical design reviews, assess architectural decisions, dependencies, and risks, and provide practical recommendations to maintain consistency and minimise implementation rework.
  • Facilitate architecture discussions, prepare technical documentation and presentations, communicate design decisions, and contribute to architecture governance forums.
  • Provide architectural guidance to delivery teams, ensuring solutions adhere to agreed standards, design principles, and implementation best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience in enterprise data architecture within the financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data platforms and cloud data architectures.
  • Experience designing data integration solutions, ETL/ELT pipelines, microservices architectures, REST APIs, and API gateway integrations.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, data security, and architectural standards.
  • Experience conducting solution design reviews, evaluating technical risks and dependencies, and guiding cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and presentation skills, including experience engaging with senior technical stakeholders and architecture governance forums.

Why Join Capco

  • Deliver high-impact transformation programmes for leading financial services and enterprise clients.
  • Work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial consulting culture where your ideas are valued.
  • Access continuous learning, professional certifications, and career development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with experienced consultants and technology specialists on complex business challenges.
  • Help shape the future of digital transformation through innovative, client-focused solutions.
