Vos responsabilités incluront

• Participer à l'intégration, à la configuration et au déploiement de nouveaux services et applications en environnement de production.
• Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes de trading et de gestion des risques afin de résoudre les incidents et problématiques critiques.
• Contribuer à l'analyse, à la conception et à la livraison de solutions technologiques répondant aux besoins métiers.
• Participer au développement, à l'intégration et à l'amélioration continue de logiciels et services utilisés par différentes plateformes de trading.
• Effectuer des tests d'intégration et de régression ainsi que coordonner les phases de validation utilisateur (UAT).
• Assurer le dépannage, les mises à niveau logicielles et l'amélioration des performances des systèmes existants.
• Développer des scripts et des outils d'automatisation afin d'améliorer l'efficacité opérationnelle et de réduire les risques.
• Travailler dans un environnement Linux/Unix et utiliser des outils de scripting pour soutenir les activités d'intégration et de déploiement.

What you'll do

As a software integration engineer, you will contribute to the integration, deployment, and support of critical technology systems and services used by trading and risk management teams within a leading financial institution.

You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment alongside trading, development, and support teams to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of trading platforms.

How the Alumni program works

• Get trained at mthree Academy in an online class for 4-8 weeks with other graduates.
• Join a mthree client for 12-24 months while receiving support and salary increases every 12 months.
• The vast majority then convert to permanent employees with the client at the end of the program.

What you’ll learn at the mthree Academy

• How to discuss production support activity at a high level including ITIL (information technology infrastructure library), monitoring, DevOps, SRE (site reliability engineering), and disaster recovery.
• How to discuss common financial topics, including financial markets, equity trading, derivatives, currency, treasury, regulation, and risk.
• How to write a basic computer program in Python, including user input, common data structures, and flow of control.
• How to use MySQL to perform CRUD (create, read, update and delete) operations on a relational database stored in a MySQL Server.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, math).
• A GPA of 2.75 or higher. We look for potential, not prestige, but it’s important that you enjoy pushing yourself to pick up new ideas.
• Ability to troubleshoot, taking an analytical approach to solve problems.
• The right to work in Canada without needing visa sponsorship.
• French proficiency required for roles in Quebec province.

Your responsibilities will include

• Participating in the integration, configuration, and deployment of new services and applications into production environments.
• Working closely with trading desks and risk management teams to resolve critical incidents and system issues.
• Assisting with the analysis, design, and delivery of technology solutions that meet business requirements.
• Contributing to the development, integration, and ongoing enhancement of software and services consumed by multiple trading platforms.
• Performing integration and regression testing and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Supporting software upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and improving the performance and reliability of existing systems.
• Developing scripts, automation tools, and operational solutions to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Working in Linux/Unix environments and leveraging scripting technologies to support integration and deployment activities.

*Note, due to the global teams and organizations that mthree works with, both French & English may be a requirement of the position.
