• Pay: $53k to $70k a year CAD

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst, Software Developer, Application Developer, Systems Analyst, or in a related role; relevant co-op or internship experience will be considered
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or a comparable object-oriented or scripting language
• Practical knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data structures, file processing, and application integration concepts
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux, shell scripting, job scheduling, source control, debugging tools, and automated deployment practices
• Understanding of software design, coding, unit testing, defect management, and production support within an Agile SDLC
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to learn complex systems quickly, work independently and collaboratively, and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting banking applications, risk systems, data pipelines, batch processing, or reporting platforms is an asset.
• Experience with Python, Java, SQL, Oracle, Unix/Linux, Git, JIRA, and Confluence is an asset.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, APIs, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, application monitoring, or legacy-system modernisation is an asset.
