Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related degree program.
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027.
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including incident response, threat detection, and networking.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, endpoint security solutions, or cloud security technologies.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, dashboard creation, Microsoft Excel, or Power BI.
• Understanding of scripting or automation concepts using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
• Interest in cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting, and security operations.
• Experience researching cybersecurity threats, threat actors, or threat intelligence sources.
• Demonstrate a safety mindset, in a professional and personal setting.
• Exhibit the TC Energy corporate values and incorporate them into work activities and initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and communicative skills to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to accurately analyze information and deal with ambiguity.
• Experience working in a dynamic and challenging environment, and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Ability to multi-task effectively, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Reflective and committed to continuous improvement and personal development.
