How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Intropic, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

Who We Are

At Intropic , we’re building the future of financial intelligence, where deep market expertise meets the power of AI. Founded in London’s financial centre of Canary Wharf, we exist to transform complex data into clarity, precision, and action. Our culture is shaped by truth-seeking, velocity, and ownership, values that drive how we build, learn, and collaborate every day. We move fast, think independently, and hold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity and impact. Here, curiosity isn’t just encouraged, it’s essential. If you’re driven by challenge, inspired by innovation, and ready to amplify your intelligence alongside a team of exceptional thinkers, Intropic is where your ideas can truly compound.

Who We Look For

We are a fin-tech start-up with a successful suite of products, now ready to build the next big thing. You must thrive working on open-ended problems across a range of disciplines; we are a start-up where our engineers do much more than just pick up JIRA tickets. A typical week may include debugging python, deploying infrastructure changes, talking to product early-adopters, and strategic planning with the team leads. We hire the person not the CV; if you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Working with product managers, researchers, and other engineers to define cloud-native backend systems and project requirements.
  • Designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services with a strong focus on cloud architecture.
  • Writing clean, well-tested, and production-ready Python code (with opportunities to use Go or Rust where appropriate).
  • Deploying and operating production systems on AWS with an emphasis on reliability, security, and performance.
  • Using Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage cloud resources.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Independent and self-driven learner with a strong interest in containerised backend engineering.
  • Strong Python experience
  • Experience with Cloud-Native system design and hosting
  • Experience with debugging via observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Loki.

Desirables

  • Experience or interest in Go and/or Rust.
  • Experience with graph databases or knowledge graphs (e.g. Neptune, Neo4j, or graph modelling on Postgres).
