How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Stackfuel, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 3, 2026.

What it asks of you

5+ years of experience
“5+ years of professional experience in software development, at least 2 of them in customer-facing or full-stack roles.” (quoted from the posting)

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

Job Description

For years, StackFuel has been one of Germany’s leading providers of data and AI training. Since early 2026, we have been part of Multiverse, Europe’s only EdTech unicorn and the continent’s largest AI upskilling platform. Together, we are pursuing a clear goal: to make 100,000 employees in Germany AI-ready and close the country’s data and AI skills gap. You’ll join as one of the first people in our new FDE unit, which we plan to expand significantly over the coming years, giving you plenty of room to shape things and the opportunity to take on responsibility for the team and methodology early on.

As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (f/m/d), you’ll work exactly where this goal becomes reality: directly with our internal and external customers, at the intersection of technology and real business needs. You enjoy taking end-to-end ownership, understand what large companies and their business units need, and turn that into AI solutions that run in production and deliver measurable impact.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers and business units, translating their requirements into concrete end-to-end technical solutions
  • Develop customer solutions and products that interface directly with our internal systems and platforms
  • Build AI prototypes and solutions, integrating AI end-to-end, from backend to frontend
  • Reliably bring solutions into production, including deployment, monitoring, and testing
  • Ensure our solutions are privacy-compliant and suitable for use in the EU
  • Enable our customers to operate and further develop your solutions independently
  • Feed learnings from customer projects back to Product and Engineering

What you bring

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, at least 2 of them in customer-facing or full-stack roles. Experience as a “Solution Engineer” or “AI Engineer” is a plus.
  • You work AI-first and naturally use AI tools in your day-to-day engineering. You’re also able to share your knowledge and bring it into the team.
  • Experience with end-to-end development using Python (FastAPI or Django) and TypeScript/React
  • Confident with PostgreSQL, schema migrations, testing, and CI (pytest, typed code, GitHub or similar)
  • Experience with Docker-based deployment and solid knowledge of observability
  • Experience in customer-facing delivery: you have already turned requirements from business units into working solutions
  • Business-fluent German and very good English communication skills
  • Experience with GDPR, business acumen, and solution engineering are a plus
  • Willingness to travel to discuss and implement solutions with customers

This role probably isn’t for You if…

This role is probably not the right fit if you prefer working with clearly defined tickets and would rather leave customer conversations to others. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll sit at the table with business units yourself, ask the right questions, and figure out what’s actually needed.
