How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Stackfuel, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 3, 2026.

What it asks of you

5+ years of experience
“5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, including initial lead responsibility (architecture, technical decisions, mentoring)” (quoted from the posting)

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

Job Description

For years, StackFuel has been one of Germany’s leading providers of data and AI training. Since early 2026, we have been part of Multiverse, Europe’s only EdTech unicorn and the continent’s largest AI upskilling platform. Together, we are pursuing a clear goal: to make 100,000 employees in Germany AI-ready and close the country’s data and AI skills gap.

We’re at an exciting point right now: as a scale-up, we are migrating and consolidating our infrastructure from individual systems to a scalable cloud stack, while keeping everything running and without compromising on uptime or performance. To make this happen, we’re looking for a Tech Lead AI DevOps / Infrastructure (f/m/d) to take full ownership of our infrastructure: you’ll build it, scale it, and create the foundation our team can grow on. You’ll do this with a small DevOps team that you lead. In the long term, you and your team will ensure that our engineering teams can efficiently ship their products on secure, scalable infrastructure as part of an agentic SDLC.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work as DevOps Tech Lead, meaning you’re an active contributor (player & coach) with leadership responsibility for a small team, reporting directly to our Head of Engineering
  • Own the scaling, maintenance, and security of our entire cloud infrastructure, from the ongoing migration to stable day-to-day operations, laying the foundation for team and product growth
  • Establish clean processes for monitoring, uptime, backups and recovery, access management, security updates, and cost control, in areas that have grown organically and are still largely unstructured today
  • Use AI deliberately in day-to-day DevOps work, from incident analysis to infrastructure code to runbooks, and consistently automate recurring operational tasks so a small team can achieve maximum impact
  • Ensure that internal and external development is reliably supported by DevOps
  • Prepare the team’s evolution toward platform engineering for our Berlin location

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, including initial lead responsibility (architecture, technical decisions, mentoring)
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted DevOps, i.e. using AI to automate and safeguard operations and infrastructure
  • Solid knowledge of infrastructure as code and container orchestration, e.g. with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Ansible
  • Experience operating an enterprise stack with many components (data warehouses, applications, databases, logging, security audits, permission systems) and a strong sense for security, backups, and recovery
  • Discipline in CI/CD, monitoring, and observability (e.g. GitHub Actions, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar)
  • Experience operating in fast-growing environments and bringing structure and scalability to them
  • Business-fluent German and English

This Role Probably Isn’t for You If…

This role is probably not the right fit if you’d rather lead than get hands-on yourself. With a small team, you’re both Tech Lead and engineer, staying deeply involved in the system, the design, and the code. It’s also not a good fit if you expect a tidy environment with established processes: a lot of what we have has grown organically, and creating structure exactly there is a core part of your job. And if you see AI tools as a nice productivity extra rather than something that fundamentally changes how an entire team works, you probably won’t be happy here.
