How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Pplwise, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 3, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

About pplwise

pplwise is a recruiting consultancy for fast-growing technology companies across Europe. Through Recruiting as a Service and Executive Search, we fill key roles for our clients, from start-ups to publicly listed companies. We are filling this position for our client Filics.

About our client: Filics

Filics is reinventing intralogistics with autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that change how material moves. Its double-runner system makes Filics the first and only AMR that can drive through load carriers such as Euro pallets. This breaks with forklift logic and sets a new standard for efficiency. Filics is a small, hands-on team that solves hard problems with engineering excellence. Leadership goes to those who take initiative and consistently deliver. As Senior Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) at Filics, you will design the electronics at the core of the next generation of robots.

About the role

This is an on-site/hybrid role in Munich, close to engineering and assembly.

Filics doesn’t just use off-the-shelf components. It builds its own custom IP. The robots run on advanced boards that cover a wide range of electrical engineering. On one end is high power, such as battery and motor controllers. On the other end are high-speed interfaces like PCIe, USB and MIPI CSI. The real challenge is making all these subsystems work together as one system. Many of these problems have no textbook solution. Solving them takes solid experience, a deep understanding of the physics and a creative mind.

The EE team is small, and the robot is far from finished. You’ll own your boards end to end : requirements, system design, schematic, layout, design review, sourcing, manufacturing, testing and validation. You’ll keep owning them for as long as they’re in production. You’ll work closely with Embedded Software, Mechanical Engineering, Software and the Production team. As Filics moves from prototypes to series production, your designs need to work reliably at scale , not just in the lab.

What you’ll do

  • Take full ownership of a complex PCB project and get it running in as few revisions as possible
  • Design high-power and high-speed circuits and make sure they work together at system level
  • Design for EMC, manufacturability and testability, and take boards through EMC testing and certification
  • Bring new technical approaches to the team, for example a new converter architecture that enables higher charging power in a smaller package
  • Introduce useful processes from your experience, such as simulation workflows that validate a layout before it goes to production
  • Help with board bring-up and debugging together with Embedded Software, and support Production with clear documentation and training
  • Take over ownership of existing boards so the team shares responsibility

About you

  • Several years designing electronics in an R&D environment at a smaller hardware company driven by innovation (e.g. robotics, e-mobility, aviation, autonomous vehicles, motion control)
  • A proven record of taking PCBs within a larger system from requirements to a validated product
  • Strong skills in schematic design and PCB layout (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD or similar)
  • Hands-on debugging experience with an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, VNA or spectrum analyzer, plus soldering
  • Experience with designs that went through EMC testing or CE certification
  • An innovator’s mindset: you have built something new or significantly improved an existing concept
  • Basic simulation know-how (e.g. LTspice, ANSYS, thermal/EM/tolerance analysis); deeper experience is a strong plus
  • Basic experience with Linux and embedded software
  • You work independently, take ownership and thrive without rigid structures

What Filics offers

  • Real ownership of your designs, from first draft to series production
  • Space to innovate and a wide range of technical challenges, from power electronics to high-speed design
  • A small, high-caliber team with close collaboration across disciplines
  • Fast growth: one year at Filics teaches you what usually takes many years at a large company
  • An on-site/hybrid role in Munich, close to Engineering and Assembly
