What it asks of you

8+ years of experience
“6-8+ years of experience as a DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineer, including experience leading technical initiatives, owning architecture decisions, or me” (quoted from the posting)

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

About monday.com

monday.com is the AI work platform powering the most ambitious teams. 250,000+ customers across departments use us to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform where AI doesn't just assist, it executes. We move fast, build things that matter, and foster an ownership-driven culture where you're empowered to shape how organizations work and outpace their competition.

About the team

The Infra Platform team builds the platform at the interface between R&D and Infrastructure at monday.com .

On one side, it lets engineering teams own their cloud and Kubernetes resources themselves. Developers provision, configure, and operate what they need through safe defaults, guardrails, and visibility, instead of filing tickets and waiting.

On the other side, it gives infra teams the building blocks to create and evolve that interface. These include shared capabilities, abstractions, and our Infra AI agents platform, which lets infra teams build, run, and govern agents that automate the work between R&D and infra.

Our customers are both the engineers who build monday.com and the infra engineers who build on top of our platform. We treat the platform as a product: we talk to our users, measure adoption, and care about developer experience as much as technical correctness.

We’re a distributed team, with part of it in Tel Aviv, Israel and part in Warsaw, Poland. You’ll be based at our headquarters in Tel Aviv (hybrid) and work daily with teammates in Warsaw.

About The Role

  • Build the platform that connects R&D and Infra. Design the APIs, abstractions, and workflows that let teams safely create and manage their own cloud and Kubernetes resources, from request to production, on top of Terraform and Pulumi.
  • Build the building blocks for infra teams. Create the shared capabilities that infra teams use to extend the platform and automate their own domains, with the Infra AI agents platform as a core example.
  • Build the Infra AI agents platform. Design the runtime, tooling, and integrations that let infra teams create reliable agents: tool and API access, context and knowledge, permissions, and deployment.
  • Make automation trustworthy. Build the guardrails, evaluation, observability, and audit trails that let teams run agents and automated workflows safely against production systems.
  • Treat the platform as a product. Gather feedback from developers and infra teams, set the roadmap, drive adoption, and measure success through developer experience and time to production.
  • Lead technical direction. Own architecture decisions, weigh trade-offs across teams, and lead multi-team initiatives from design to rollout.
  • Raise the technical bar. Review designs, mentor engineers, and help set standards across the organization.
  • Keep the platform reliable. Own the observability, reliability, and incident response of what we build, so teams can trust it.

Our Stack — AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, Pulumi, Helm, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Docker, Datadog, Linux, Python, TypeScript, Go, LLM and agent frameworks.

Your Experience & Skills

  • Hands-on experience building agentic systems. You’ve designed and shipped agents or agent-based tooling, and you understand tool use, context management, failure modes, and why agents need guardrails, evaluation, and observability.
  • 6-8+ years of experience as a DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineer, including experience leading technical initiatives, owning architecture decisions, or mentoring other engineers.
  • Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling that other teams use, not just infrastructure for your own team.
  • Strong software engineering skills in at least one of Python, TypeScript, or Go. You’ll write real code, such as APIs, services, and automation.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar) and an understanding of how to build abstractions on top of it.
  • Solid Kubernetes and AWS knowledge, including networking, IAM, security, and cost management.
  • Experience with GitOps and CI/CD (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or similar).
  • A product mindset: you design for your users, gather feedback, and care about adoption.
  • Strong communication skills, including clear written communication, and the ability to influence teams you don’t manage.
  • Comfortable with high autonomy and ambiguity.
