How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

What it asks of you

Must be a current student
“Pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering or another quantitative field.” (quoted from the posting)

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

The Role

As an AI Forward Deployed Engineer Intern in Hong Kong, you'll sit between our investment teams and our AI platform. You'll rotate across portfolio manager and strategy teams to find where AI can change how they research, decide and trade, and then build it. Each rotation ends with a working AI-based workflow or trading tool that the team actually uses. Alongside the rotations, you'll work with our AI infrastructure team to shape the core platform: data, memory, architecture, intelligence and interface. The internship runs for 10 weeks over summer 2027.

What You’ll Do

  • Embed with PM and strategy teams on rotation. Learn their process, find the bottlenecks, and ship AI agents and workflows that remove them.
  • Build AI-assisted research and trading tools, from data ingestion and signal research through to the tools PMs rely on everyday.
  • Convert what you learn on the desks back into our shared AI platform: data pipelines, agent memory, architecture, model and agent intelligence, and interfaces (Slack, dashboards, CLI)
  • Measure whether what you build gets used and adds value and keep improving it based on feedback.
  • Present your work to PMs and the AI committee and defend your design choices.

What You’ll Bring

  • Pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering or another quantitative field.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills, and comfort working with APIs, data pipelines and production-quality code.
  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs: agents, tool use, retrieval/memory, evals. A portfolio or GitHub of things you've shipped is a big plus.
  • Genuine curiosity about markets and how investment teams work. Prior finance knowledge is not required, but you should want to learn it fast.
  • A builder's mindset: you can take an open-ended problem from a non-technical user to a working tool, and you're skeptical of your own results.
  • A clear communicator who can explain technical trade-offs to PMs and engineers alike, with strong ownership.
