How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age.

Last checked Nov 4, 2026.

What it asks of you

Bachelor's degree asked for
“Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional QA experience.” (quoted from the posting)

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

What are we building?

At Hard Rock Games, we’re not just making games—we’re crafting experiences that connect people, deliver thrills, and celebrate the spirit of Hard Rock. As the social casino gaming arm of Hard Rock Digital, our teams shape every stage of the journey from concept to launch to live operations, giving our teams the ability to innovate, experiment, and make real impact.

With the backing of a globally recognized brand, we combine the agility of a startup with the reach of an entertainment powerhouse. Here, creativity thrives, ideas scale, and careers grow.

We’re looking for passionate creators, builders, and innovators to join us in shaping the future of free-to-play gaming. Let’s play hard.

About the role

We're looking for a QA Engineer to join our Games team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality gaming products across web and mobile platforms in a fast-paced environment. As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our game development pipeline, contributing to quality assurance and regulatory compliance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all stages of the SDLC, ensuring the quality of gaming products.
  • Review and analyze product and technical requirements; identify untestable or ambiguous items before development starts.
  • Collaborate with QA and development teams to create comprehensive test strategies.
  • Write and maintain automated tests for web and mobile game clients.
  • Execute test cases and analyze results to identify issues across web and mobile platforms.
  • Verify game behavior against its specification, including paytables, RTP, and payout behavior against the math model.
  • Test against regulatory and certification requirements; help prepare evidence for regulatory submissions.
  • Report and manage bugs with clarity and actionable detail.
  • Work alongside AI-assisted tooling, specifying expected behavior precisely enough for automated verification.
  • Foster close collaboration with Product and Development teams to drive continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven work experience in software development and quality assurance.
  • Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated tests in an existing framework.
  • Hands-on expertise testing web (HTML5, WebGL) and mobile (iOS, Android) platforms.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Strong knowledge of QA best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to write clear test plans and test cases for execution or automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing real-money or social casino products against certification requirements (GLI or equivalent).
  • Experience verifying game math from a specification or math file.
  • Experience with AI-assisted QA tooling.
  • Experience with device-cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack.

Education and Experience

  • 3–5 years in QA within an agile environment.
  • Prior experience testing games for web and mobile.
  • Proven experience with game development pipelines and release cycles.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional QA experience.
