How we know
It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.
Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age.

What the posting discloses
Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.
Why these three
Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.
Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role
Company Overview
At Skild AI, we are building the world's first general purpose robotic intelligence that is robust and adapts to unseen scenarios without failing. We believe massive scale through data-driven machine learning is the key to unlocking these capabilities for the widespread deployment of robots within society. Our team consists of individuals with varying levels of experience and backgrounds, from new graduates to domain experts. Relevant industry experience is important, but ultimately less so than your demonstrated abilities and attitude. We are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to explore uncharted waters and contribute to our innovative projects.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Robotics Quality Assurance Engineer to own test case management, new-feature testing, and regression testing across our full-stack robotics solutions. Partnering with Engineering, you will build and maintain automated regression across software modules, simulation, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), and SW/HW interfaces, so that every new feature is verified against its requirements and every software update is validated from the component level up to the full robot before it reaches the fleet. This is a hands-on role working every day with some of the most advanced robots in the world, putting the Skild Brain through its paces on real hardware, in simulation, and on HIL rigs, and helping decide when new capabilities are ready for customers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack regression coverage across software components, HIL, and SW/HW interfaces, including happy-path, fault-injection, and recovery testing.
- Review requirements and designs for each release, write test plans and test cases for new features, and execute functional, integration, and on-robot testing before they ship, then promote validated tests into the regression suite.
- Build automated end-to-end tests, plus logged-data replay and scenario suites that catch performance drift across stack updates before release.
- Choose and apply the right type of robot simulation for each level of test automation, balancing speed, fidelity, and accuracy.
- Own test cases and their traceability to requirements, define pass/fail criteria, and triage failures with engineering teams.
- Integrate regression into CI so every release is validated at both the software and full-robot level ahead of fleet rollout.
- Partner with engineering teams to expand HIL coverage.
- Work with deployment teams to reproduce field-reported regressions and turn them into permanent regression tests.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, robotics, or test automation; senior-level experience preferred.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Linux shell scripting, with hands-on experience building automated test frameworks and CI pipelines.
- Strong experience with robot simulation.
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, and with testing web applications, IoT devices, or mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience with fault injection and logged-data replay.
- Rigor in requirements traceability and defect management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing autonomous mobile robots, manipulators, or other fleet-deployed robotic systems.
- Hands-on experience with simulators such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or MuJoCo, and with HIL rigs.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Qase, Testomat.io) and CI systems (GitHub Actions preferred).
- Experience triaging field issues from logs, bag files, or telemetry.
- Programming experience in Go, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
Success in This Role
You’ll know you’re succeeding when
- Regressions are caught in CI or simulation, not in the field.
- Every release ships with clear, traceable pass/fail evidence at both the software and full-robot level.
- Field-reported issues are reproduced quickly and turned into permanent regression tests.
