About You

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline with demonstrated experience working on hardware-integrated systems
• Relevant software development experience designing and delivering complex software systems by means of:
• 5+ years of industry experience
• An M.Sc. in a related discipline with 3+ years of industry experience
• A Ph.D. in a related discipline with post-doctoral experience
• Understanding of software architecture, algorithms, concurrency, and performance optimization techniques
• Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing software interfaces to hardware systems
• Experience developing reliable, maintainable software for complex engineering or scientific applications
• Experience developing software for scientific computing, hardware control systems, or distributed infrastructure
• Familiarity with quantum computing, high-performance computing environments, digital or analog superconducting devices, device physics, or embedded systems
• Experience with Git workflows including branching, merging, and pull requests
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies and domains

During the interview process, your Recruiter will explain how our rubrics work across all our total rewards (base, equity, bonus, perks, benefit, culture) offerings. The base salary for this role is targeted between $150,000 - $206,000 CAD per year. The final offer is determined by your proficiencies within this level.
