How we know

It hasn't been reposted, listed twice, or left up unusually long, and the posting doesn't say it's a talent pool.

Ghostless records the day it first sees a posting, so a repost can't reset its age. This one was already up when Ghostless started tracking Lighthousegames, so its true age is longer.

Last checked Nov 1, 2026.

What the posting discloses

Not stated: Pay, real vacancy, AI screening.

Why these three

Ontario requires postings from employers with 25 or more staff to state the pay, whether the vacancy exists, and whether AI screens applicants.

Some employers add pay only on their own site. Check the original posting before you rule it out.

About the role

Lighthouse Games is a new AAA studio in Leamington Spa. We are defined by our pedigree of talent, and serious ambition to build a new best-in-class game. When you join us at Lighthouse, you will be able to create the best work of your career, in an environment that feels truly collaborative. Key Duties Include

  • Working alongside the Lead Build Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our build and release pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable build processes from development to deployment.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand build requirements, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize build times and resource utilization.
  • Automate build, testing, and deployment workflows using industry-standard tools and technologies, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for version control, branching strategies, and release management, maintaining consistency and stability across multiple projects and repositories.
  • Manage build infrastructure, including build servers, version control systems, and artifact repositories, and implement monitoring and alerting to ensure system health and availability.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines, CI/CD tools, and configuration management (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot complex build issues and optimize build performance.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion.
